Tap Dance

Dress Code for Tap Classes

Students should have their hair pulled securely off their face in a ponytail or a bun.

Students should wear clothing that is comfortable to move in that does not obscure the visible lines of the body along with tap shoes.

Tap dance classes focus on learning to create percussive sounds with your tap shoes through rhythm and movement. In class, students will develop rhythm, timing and coordination while creating different types of sounds, rhythmic steps, and energetic exercises to various types of music.
