What is Living By Performing Dance Company?

Living By Performing Dance Company (LBPDC) is LBP’s competitive dance company. This wonderful group of dedicated young dancers take classes at LBP, rehearse group and solo choreography, and compete throughout the Chicago suburbs. These dancers compete in a variety of styles in a variety of levels. Dancers have the chance to learn teamwork, dedication, resilience and grow more confident as a dancer. Dancers attend four regional competitions as well as optional conventions and a national competition.

 

What are the requirements to become a LBPDC member?

Dancers must take classes at LBP and be at least 6 years of age. Dancers rehearse on Tuesdays and Saturdays in an alternating schedule. Solo, Duet, Trio dancers may have occasional Sunday morning practices.Level 3 dancers will have occasional Friday night practices. Dancers are required to take classes at LBP throughout the year.
