Hello

Georgia Gooding

Lyrical & Jazz Instructor

Bio

Georgia Gooding grew up dancing at Le Ballet Petit School of Dance for 15 years, training in all
styles of dance with a special love for ballet, contemporary, lyrical, and hip hop. Some of her
most memorable and favorite performances included dancing the roles of the Sugar Plum, Black
Swan, Snow Queen, Blue Bird, and Little Red Riding Hood. She also competed with the Living
By Performing Dance Company for six years, which was her absolute favorite part of growing
up in dance.

During high school, she discovered her passion for teaching and began instructing classes in
ballet, hip hop, and tap. After graduating from Lane Tech College Prep in 2018, she continued
her dance journey at Purdue University, where she performed with the Purdue Dance Team,
which competes in the Division 1A category at national competitions including NCA & NDA
College Nationals. With the team, she had the privilege of performing at many football,
basketball, and volleyball games. She graduated from Purdue University in 2022 with a degree in
Political Science, along with minors in Environmental Politics & Policy and Law & Society.
She is now a Juris Doctor Candidate at DePaul University College of Law (Class of 2026), and
dance remains an important part of her life. More than anything, she values the friendships and
community that dance and LBP have given her, and strives to share that same joy and connection
with her students.
